One of Ajanta’s most exciting projects is the Air Force “LevelUP Codeworks” project. Ajanta Consulting is engaged in creating a software development facility for the LevelUP team to conduct and facilitate the program’s rapid capability of delivering war-winning cyberspace capabilities. Designed to encourage the recruitment of talented programming professionals, the LevelUP facility is located off-base in the San Antonio technology/commercial district.
Joe Martinez - General Manager
With over 20 years of federal contract experience, Joe has a strong background of knowledge in construction, environmental, healthcare, and facilities program management. Joe has supported multiple DoD and civilian contracts, including projects for the Army, Air Force, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Labor, Department of Justice, and United States Agency for International Development.
Joe has worked the full life cycle of federal contracts. This experience includes business development, capture manager, program manager, employee hiring and oversight, client relationships and close out. Joe began his Federal contracting career at Kelly and Lackland AFB overseeing the housing facilities maintenance contract for seven years. His success and leadership advanced him to work government facilities maintenance contracts on military bases in the DC metro area and NAVFAC Southwest managing multiple contracts overseeing a full spectrum of building maintenance, minor construction and quality control requirements. His experience also includes capturing and managing Construction Phase Services, A/E IDIQ work and Real Property Management contracts with multiple USACE districts. Joe also worked for a large multi-national company pursuing road work, runway and all types of heavy horizontal construction opportunities.
He takes pride in building and maintaining teaming relationships. He has a business degree from the University of Texas at Pan American and holds a current certification in USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM). A native of McAllen, Texas, Joe has made San Antonio his home base since 1989.
